How the Knock Home Swap Works

  1. Home Swap Pre-Approval: Look up your clients existing home for eligibility

  2. Loan Qualification: Customers get fully underwritten using Knock as lender

  3. Purchase Next Home: Write a non-contingent offer to buy their dream home

  4. Home Swap Loan: Knock will cover carrying costs, $25k in repairs, for 6 months

  5. List Home: After closing on the buy side, market the original home while vacant


How to Check the Eligibility of a Home

  1. Sign into backyard.knock.com and enter the clients address or use the app - link

  2. Property details will autogenerate from tax records. Verify all the information

  3. Begin walking through the questionnaire by stating what amenities the home has

  4. If a property is found initially eligible, you will be immediately alerted on screen

  5. If a property is NOT found to be eligible, you will be informed along with details


Use the Knock HomePro App at Listing

  1. Download the Knock HomePro app from either Apple or Google Play

  2. Use your credentials from Knock Backyard to log in to the mobile app

  3. You can also check the eligibility for other addresses by simply using the app

  4. Set up an appointment to evaluate the home and follow the prompts in the app

  5. Take photos and report on the condition and financial position of the home
