First Things First.

When you’re ready to bring your license to West + Main, we will hop on a call gather important information:
+ License Number
+ Social Security Number
+ We will then handle transferring your license to West + Main Homes

MAR Application (Minneapolis Area Realtors) - PLEASE read and find which applies:
+ Are you currently a member of MAR (Minneapolis Association of Realtors)? Complete THIS Change Form form to transfer your office membership to West + Main.
+ Are you currently a member of SPAAR (St. Paul Area Association of Realtors)? Complete THIS form to transfer your office membership. If you are currently a member of SPAAR, you’ll need to transfer your license to MAR. Dues paid to SPAAR will transfer to your MAR membership.
+Are you a new agent? Complete THIS form to apply for membership.
+ Once complete, please email this membership application to info@mplsrealtor.com

Supra EKey
+ Visit www.Supraekey.com or call 1-877-699-6787 to setup/confirm your account.

Let’s Make It Official.

West + Main Email Account
+ You will receive an invite to join our West + Main workspace to your personal email. The invite will instruct you to set up your account + reset your password.

Brokermint
+ You will receive your email and password at your new West + Main email address.  This is the file management system you’ll use for contracts once executed.

Slack
+ Accept your invite to join our team’s Slack account. The invite can be found in your email inbox. Download the Slack app to your laptop and phone and sign into the workspace (westmainmn.slack.com). Make sure all notifications are on.
+ Join all of the #channels
+ Jump into conversations and start direct messaging!
+ Please note: our team will not text or email you once you’re on slack, so if you get a communication from one of us in any other platform, it’s a scam - please delete + block.

Now That Your License Is Active.

Slack Your Bio + Headshot to @Allie
+ We can’t wait to get you a fresh W+M headshot, but for now your current headshot or a casual pic will do.
+ Please send Allie your current bio. If you don’t have a bio you love, slack @Allie the answers to the questions below and she will write one for you!
- Where are you from?

- Where have you lived?

- How long have you lived in Minnesota?

- Did you go to college? What did you study? (only applicable if you want this in your bio)

- What was your previous career?

- What are a few soft skills you feel you excel at?

- Are you focusing on a certain piece of real estate or a certain type of client? (first time homebuyers, military relocation, commercial, etc)

- What do you like to do in your free time?

Approve Your Business Cards + Welcome Graphics
+ Be sure to respond to our team’s messages in Slack so we can get your business cards ordered - first box of 250 is on us!
+ Once your welcome graphics are approved, we’ll share them on our social media to spread the good news. We would love it if you did the same!

Complete Fairhaven Training
+ We require all agents to complete the Fairhaven Fair Housing Training. Learn more + get started

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
+ Login to your CRM at westandmainmn.com/backend
+ Your username is firstnamelastname + your password is lastname1
+ Download the REW Leads app to your phone and use the same login. Turn notifications on.
+ Make sure your full database is uploaded and set up your clients on a search.

E-Newsletter
+ Create a free account at mailchimp.com
+ Make sure to set up your profile completely.
+ Upload your database or add your contacts individually to create an audience.
+ Visit our best practices page for the E-Newsletter
+ Send the announcement email that our Creative Team slacks to you.
+ Send the e-newsletter every Tuesday (slack channel #newsletters), and keep adding to your Mailchimp audience!

Order Listing Marketing
+ Congrats on the listing! Order marketing materials for your listing on westandmainlistings.com
+ For every listing, we provide a flyer, social graphics, blog post, instagram story template, and push on our socials. Check out additional options for traditional and luxury listings.

Signage
+ Please slack @Allie indicating how many name riders ($13-$15/each depending on quantity) you’d like to order - 3 to start is a good baseline in case those listings start popping up!
+ W+M sign panels are stored at Continental Post Services. You’ll need to create an account here. Once created, you’ll be able to order sign installs (at agent expense — W+M sign panels are free to use) with your custom name rider installed.
+ Please slack @Allie to inquire about Open House sign ordering, if interested.
