Course Description
This class is designed to increase the knowledge of licensees who are familiar with the OKLAHOMA UNIFORM CONTRACT OF SALE OF REAL ESTATE --RESIDENTIAL SALE. Topics discussed are: The implications and handling of Contingencies, the intricacies of counteroffers, and best practices for multiple offer situations. Reasons are given for the three-parts of an Escalation Clause, use of Back-up Contracts and pinpoints the agent’s Duty of Confidentiality. This is a fast-moving class, so the participant handout will be helpful during class and as a reference.
In the current real estate market, a large percentage of contract offers are prepared, presented, and signed electronically. It is done quickly under time pressure, and it is often misunderstood or never understood by the signing parties and sometimes the real estate agent. Taking this course will help you move ahead in contract competency and be a better real estate practitioner.
