This course equips real estate agents with the vital information necessary to guide clients through the buying and selling of properties in relation to divorce. Property division is permanent, and all agents must be well versed in maneuvering through the sometimes-messy legalities. Participants will learn best practices in working with both mediators and lawyers, common mistakes to avoid, how taxes and bankruptcy interplay, and most importantly how to protect the consumer.
