Free Days in Colorado
In a city like Denver, it’s not always easy to find affordable, family-friendly things to do — and it’s especially difficult to find activities that won’t cost you anything at all.But luckily, Front Range museums and cultural organizations offer free days throughout the year that make these institutions accessible to everyone.
Some free days are part of larger events — such as Night at the Museums during Denver Arts Week or Día del Niño (Children’s Day) in April — but many are subsidized by the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District, a seven-county tax district that supports hundreds of local arts and culture nonprofits.
