Thoroughbred Season returns to Remington Park from Aug. 16 to Dec.13, offering an exciting series of horse racing events! This annual season attracts racing enthusiasts from around the region, eager to witness top-tier Thoroughbred racing.
See Oklahoma City Museum of Art's newly opened exhibition, Edith Head: Hollywood’s Costume Designer. This exciting retrospective of award-winning costume designer Edith Head will feature costumes from the 1930s to the 1960s that were worn by some of Hollywood's biggest stars of the 20th century.
The Colors of Freedom: Ukrainian Children for Peace exhibit opens this month at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. The exhibition presents a collection of artworks created by young Ukrainians who want to share their fears, hopes and dreams with the world. Through their art, they celebrate the bravery and resilience of the Ukrainian people, showcasing a nation's unwavering spirit.

Cooling Off

Cool off at Riversport's indoor alpine skiing and snowboarding! Hit the water with them in the Boathouse District for whitewater rafting and surfing. A fan of calmer waters? Rent a paddleboard or kayak at Lake Hefner or Lake Overholser!

Shop 'til You Drop
Oklahoma's annual sales tax holiday runs Aug. 2-4 and is the best time to shop for back-to-school clothes! No matter your shopping style, you’ll find retailers of all shapes and sizes across the OKC metro. Venture out to the city’s major shopping centers to find the well-known brands you love. The OKC Outlets features more than 80 stores ranging from luxury brands to family friendly favorites. For the traditional, indoor shopping mall experience, centrally located Penn Square Mall and north OKC's Quail Spring Mall are sure to fit the bill with a selection of national department stores.
