Outdoor Adventures

Oklahoma City has a relatively mild winter season, making it easy to get outside for some fun year round! Check out the murals at Plaza Walls. Cruise the Bricktown Canal with a ride on the Bricktown Water Taxi. Go on an outdoor safari walk at the Oklahoma City Zoo. Take your pup on a walk around the Scissortail Park lake on your way to the dog park. Explore Myriad Botanical Gardens and learn all about the foliage and history with a walking tour

MLK, Jr. Day in OKC 

Honor an iconic American hero at the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade in Oklahoma City on Jan. 17. Organized by the OKC Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Coalition, OKC has the third largest MLK Jr. Parade in the United States. The theme this year is "Resilient and Relentless" and will also feature a silent march, bell ringing, holiday program and job fair. Everyone is welcome to attend!
