Meet Katherine
I am a printmaker, I create mainly large (32" x 30 ") monotypes and some painting on birchwood panel. My work is abstract, I am a colorist, and I produce a body of work that holds together as one vison. I maintain a studio in the Golden Triangle downtown.
I have been making art since highschool with printmaking being the path I loved. My business has always existed as a way to be able to keep working .That is it's purpose. I am known for my installations in Rose Medical Hospital ,Parker Adventist Hospital Cancer Center, residential clients in the Denver area. Right now I am working on pieces for this up coming Cherry Creek Arts Festival. I believe Denver has developed a rich , wonderful and fun art scene over the last 35 years. It is my hope that the economics of the city's development will leave a space for it to continue. The best advice I ever got was ; beware of the guy that says let's you and him fight. The second piece I got was ; when speaking of artists be kind. We are all just trying to make it.
