Celebrate Native American Heritage Month
Pay homage to Native American Heritage Month with a trip to the Modern Frontier. Learn about the collective history of the 39 First American Nations in Oklahoma today at the First Americans Museum. Shop at Oklahoma Native Arts & Jewelry for Native-made wares. Visit Exhibit C, an art gallery that highlights First American artists. Toast to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans at Skydance Brewing Co., the first Native-owned brewery in Oklahoma.
It's (almost) the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
Get in the yuletide spirit by visiting Oklahoma City for the holidays! The fun is back this year with light displays, ice skating and more during Downtown in December! Don't miss the OKC Tree Lighting Festival on Nov. 16. Go wild at the OKC Zoo's Safari Lights, a festive drive-thru showcasing large wildlife themed light sculptures, starting Nov. 11.
